CHI Scientific, Inc., a private owned biotech company based in Massachusetts today announced it has entered final preparation stages to launch Tumor PrimaCell™ kits.
Maynard, MA --- CHI Scientific, Inc., a private owned biotech company today announced that it has entered final preparation stages to launch Tumor PrimaCell™. These tumor PrimaCell kits were co-developed with three reputable research laboratories announced in January, 2008. This batch of tumor PrimaCell kits include 18 types of human tumor PrimaCell™ for culturing tumor cells directly from human cancerous specimens and 10 types of xenograft tumors of mouse.
These products, together with normal tissue PrimaCell™ systems which have been marketing since June 2006 and other tissue PrimaCell™ systems that are in development will offer researches a complete, standard and convenient process culturing primary cells of all kinds. As of today, CHI Scientific has successfully developed PrimaCell™ systems for culturing 135 types of primary cells from species such as human, rat, mouse and avian. "We are dedicated to establish a standard research platform for primary cell culture with our proprietary technologies ", Dr. Alfred Chi, the company's Chief Executive Officer commented, "these products are greatly enhancing our product portfolios that are in line with our mission statement - accelerating primary cell research" Dr. Chi added. The remaining types of tumor PrimaCell™ systems are expected to be introduced later this fiscal year.
