Maynard, MA --- CHI Scientific, Inc., a private owned biotech company today announced that it has entered final preparation stages to launch Tumor PrimaCell™. These tumor PrimaCell kits were co-developed with three reputable research laboratories announced in January, 2008. This batch of tumor PrimaCell kits include 18 types of human tumor PrimaCell™ for culturing tumor cells directly from human cancerous specimens and 10 types of xenograft tumors of mouse.

These products, together with normal tissue PrimaCell™ systems which have been marketing since June 2006 and other tissue PrimaCell™ systems that are in development will offer researches a complete, standard and convenient process culturing primary cells of all kinds. As of today, CHI Scientific has successfully developed PrimaCell™ systems for culturing 135 types of primary cells from species such as human, rat, mouse and avian.
